Jordan and Smith Win Watts Bar!!!

Friday Night Meeting was held at Whites Creek Baptist Church as always Pastor Roger and his great church family feed everyone a great meal with all the fixing.  After the meal Pastor Roger delivered a awesome message that everyone take a look at their walk with the Lord.

Saturday morning came with overcast skies and and cool temperatures at the start of the day.  And by weigh-in time we had rain and thunderstorms in the area with the high is the seventies.

First Place went to the team of Brian Jordan and Michael Smith who came to the scales with 3 fish weighing 12.38 pounds which also included the lunker of the tournament a beatiful 5.09 largemouth bass.  Michael reported running their Mercury powered boat around the midddle section of Watts Bar Lake catching over 25 fish during the day.  They used several different lures including a spook, chatterbait and worm in shallow water.  This team is sponsored by White Pine Marine, Mercury, Tote-Rite and Dixie Custom Rods.

Second Place went to the team George Headden and Brad Sampson how came to the scales with 3 fish weighing in at 11.51 pounds.  George reported catching their fish shallow flipping and also catching the deep on a football jig.

In a close point race coming down to the last tournament of the Rod Garrett and Paul Rogers came away with the Points Championship.  This was a tight race all year long but this talented team pulled it off in the end.  Congratulations great job!!
