Jordan and Smith win Watts Bar.

Friday Night Meeting was at Whites Creek Baptist Church where we were greeted with friendly faces and good food after everyone was signed up and belly were full it was time for some preaching.  Brother Roger Britton brought the message, and he did a great job use fishing experience and the Bible to present the gospel.

Saturday Morning came with unseasonable warm weather with air temperatures of 90 degrees and light winds.  By weigh-in time Michael Smith and Brian Jordan came in with 3 fish limit, weighing 14.11 pounds.   This team reported running their Mercury all around the mid-section of the lake catching their fish on variety of different lures.  There catch also included the big bass of the tournament, a massive 5.37 lbs. largemouth bass.  This team is sponsored by White Pine Marine, Mercury Outboards, Phoenix Boats, Dixie Custom Rods, and Tackle Tote-Rite and most of all Jesus.

Second place was Tim and Tom Leonard with 3 fish limit weighing in at 13.55 pounds.  This experienced team ran their Mercury powered boat around the mid-section of the lake to bring back their three biggest bass. The Leonards reports catching all the bass on a jig fishing 20 feet deep.  The Leonard brothers said after a slow start the figured out that the fish were relating to rocks and fished rocky banks the rest of the day.

Third place was Wade Jenkins and Shawn Monhollen who were blessed with a great day of fishing coming to the scales with 10.33 lbs. bass.  This team report catching their fish on a Carolina rig and big crankbait.  Shawn said they focused on main lake points fishing 15 to 25 feet deep.
