June 6, 2020 tournament on Lake Springfield was a great event! 26 teams launched Saturday morning to compete for a share of $3,900 in prize money, including the Scheels (Springfield, IL) $500 Big Bass Award. Out of 26 teams 19 Five Fish Limits were brought to the scales, but it was the Team of Herb Rush and Zach Pierce who would take the win with 16.48 Lbs and earning them $1,535 in total winnings. 2nd Place was the team of Blake Burd and Joe Ratliff who weighed in 15.26lbs including the Big Bass of the event with a largemouth weighing 5.53 lbs, earning them $1,215 in prize money. 3rd Place was the team of Kerry Kerry-Michelle Malone and Jim Dietel with 14.87 lbs. earning them $650. 4th Place was the team of Mark Mike and Mark Busch  with five bass weighing 13.96 lbs earning them $425. The fifth payout spot was the team of Clay Reeves and Daniel Weikle with 13.76 lbs. Just out of the money prize Sponsored by The Direction TV of two Denali Custom 811 rods was awarded to Paul Paskevicius and Matteo  Matteo Turano. No one hit the 8.11lbs Direction Challenge so a $500 prize still awaits the lucky anglers. John Williams and Rick Davis were drawn to receive the Angler Assets tackle pack.
