We started our long awaited season opener with a devotional and a prayer on the water, against the back drop of a beautful sunrise that speaks to the glory of God. 14 teams blasted of for a hot day on the water that made fishing difficult for our anglers. Even so, many fish came to the scales making for an exciting weigh in. The weights were tightly grouped and came down to the final bag to determine the top three. First place went to Bobby Ramsey and Dan Nickerson with a bag of large mouth weighing in at 16.84lbs, Second place went to first time FOM angler Tyler Fonseca and his daughter Skyler. They had some big smallies that were hard to find by the rest of the field with a weight of 16.60lbs and third place went to Jeff and Julie Raner in the last bag of the day, at 15.83 lbs. Forth place went to Big bass owner John Schneider and Glenn Harding. John landed a 6.35 lb monster included in their 15.61lb bag. 

All in all it was nice to be fishing together again, however social distancing was a bummer. Part of the fun is to fellowship together, to catch up with each other. We look forward to the time we can gather together in Jesus name to share a meal, fellowship and fishing. Once again we thank Big Bay Marina for hosting us and providing for all our needs.
