HARTWELL was our final event for 2022, with 42 boats on May 14th.

The weekend started with our meeting hosted by Jamie Callaway and FAITH BAPTIST Church.  I think everyone that attended would agree that those guys really went ALL OUT to serve our anglers.  The meal was not only provided, but Faith spared no expense as they provided RIBEYE STEAKS, potatos, salads, and some awesome deserts.  Thanks again to the CHURCH FAMILY that was there serving and worshiping.  You all were an inspiration to us and we sure do thank you!

Jamie Calloway delivered a message that ultimately confronted everyone in the room with the CHOICE that we ALL will have to make in this lifetime.  That choice is to believe in Christ, or to reject him.  As Jamie shared his testimony, we are reminded how simple salvation really is.  God loves us, and he provided Jesus (the perfect sacrifice) for us so that we (YOU & ME) could have SALVATION.  Every one of us in this lifetime will have to decide if we will trust in Christ, believe on Him through faith, and surrender to nudge of the Holy spirit.  If you would like to talk to someone about how to take that next step, please contact me.  Rodney- 864-417-5804

Tournament Saturday

Saturday turned out to be a gorgeous day, with a little wind at times and NO thunderstoms as predicted.  We got to watch a beautiful sunrise with the FOM field of anglers and the anglers from the HOSPICE of the UPSTATE.  FOM was given the opportunity to serve this great organization by assisting with their tx blast and weigh in.  This was their 7th annual event.

The bite on Hartwell has started to slow down, so it was tough for many of our anglers.  However, a few managed to find the RIGHT bite!

1st place-  Brady Kimbrell:  17.15 lbs & a 5.94 lb Big Fish to land him $2,018

2nd-  Chris Coleman & Truit Hill: 15.41 lbs, Gun Raffle Bonus $500 (attended Fri Nt meeting) winning total- $1,512
