It was Nice Getting to meet, serv, and fellowship with the Missouri Ozark Division . Thanks for coming to Grand Lake.
The day started off with giant storm fronts, stiff winds, and light rains. Throughout the day there was times of very calm waters and choppy waters. Water temps started out around 78F then climbed to around 81F. Grand lake was clear with no current .
Big Bass went to Team Joe Montalbano/Amy Byrne with a 4.32lb Bass
Joe/Amy caught their Big Bass in 8 feet on a pumpkin & chartreuse worm
Wow! Nice Job Joe/Amy
3rd Place and 3rd Bonus Bucks went to Team Scott Ventimiglia/Brian Templeton they had 5 fish for 11lbs even.
Scott/Brian found their fish in Duck Creek in 10 feet of water using a shaky head on 8lb Berkley line.
Welcome Scott/Brian as they are new to the group and seem to be a team to watch!
2nd Place and 2nd Bonus Bucks went to Team Steve Coatney/ Greg Green they had 4 fish for 11.74lbs
They Caught their fish in coves in 8 feet of water on Brush hoggs and Rage Craws using 14lb line.
Steve/Greg had a great average weight! It’s no small feat to take 2nd with only 4 fish. Good job on finding solid Fish!
1st Place and 1st Bonus Bucks went to Team Alec Bailey/Nick Bailey they had 5 fish for 13.78lbs
Alec/Nick caught their fish on points and bluffs using jerk baits and flipping in 5 feet of water using Berkley Big Game Line
Junk Fish went to Alec Bailey/Nick Bailey , the 2.98lb Drum was caught on a jerk bait off a bluff wall
