3rd and FINAL event for 2023 was on Hartwell with 12 Teams competing
LANDMARK BAPTIST Church hosted us on Friday night, and man did they do a GREAT JOB!! Thanks to SHERRY and Pastor Gary for the great spread of food. I'll repeat what I said Fri night, that was one of THE BEST meals we have had at a FOM event!!
Brian Anthony shared his testimony with us and reminded us what the bible says about GUARDING YOUR TESTIMONY in Matthew 5:16. When life happens, its not always easy to maintain the good witness, but we must try to do our best! The LEGACY series is an excellent battlefield for adults to teach young anglers (and family) how to fight the good fight. Another shout out to all those Dads that are making an effort to help their kids "hear" the word at events like FOM Fri Nt meetings. There is NO GREATER CALL!
Saturday morning was cool and quite pleasant, but the temperatures rose quickly. The fishing was tough, but team Anders managed to find a good 10 pound sack of 3 fish to claim the win today, and took home $500.
Our points race ended in a TIE, when taking the TOP 2 event's points of 3 between Brian & Zane Tidwell and Kenneth Brock & Clay Brooks. The tie breaker was determined by the total weaight from those same 2 events.
