Today we were finally able to resume our tournament trail on Lake Palestine along with some adjustments to accommodate the recommended guidelines. Thank you for all your patience throughout this time & for working with us & the new procedures. It was really great seeing you all back out on the water — a little rain didn’t stop you! We had 47 teams fish & they brought in some very competitive bags. We were able to pay out 9 places plus High School, Male/Female & Adult/Jr. bonuses for a total of $8,704.
Great job, Jerry Dolezal & John Pederson, on your 1st Place finish with a total of 25.15#! Along with their 1st Place Bonus Bucks, they won a total of $3,183.60.
Shane Gray & Dustin Gray came in a close 2nd with 24.72#. Combined with their 2nd Place Bonus Bucks, they got checks totaling $1,560.
Brad Johnson & Chris Breedlove weighed in just behind them at 3rd with 23.91#. They won a total of $874.
Jimmy Sheehy & Josh Dickens placed 4th with 19.88#, which was a tie, but they also brought in the tie-breaking Big Bass of the day at a whopping 8.69#! Add their 3rd Place Bonus Bucks & they won a total of $1,070.
Eric Thompson & Paul Ferguson placed 5th, also with 19.88#. They took home checks for $495.
6th Place went to Martin Boren & Colby Fergeson with 19.23#. They took home $246.
Braxton Hollenshead & Trey Hollenshead finished in 7th Place with 19.08#, winning $222.
Cody Woods & Robert Jones weighed in at 8th with 18.71#. They won $197.
Finishing out 9th place was Dylan Forney & Troy Slaughter with 18.06#, winning $157.
Rusty Russell & Jace Lovelady were the top placing team with a THSBA angler, winning $400. Thank you Joey Ridgle’s Septic Service for giving to our Texas High School BASS Association Bonus!
Kevin & Debe Hukill were the highest placing Male/Female Team out of the money. They won $150.
Jeff Wooldridge & Will Wooldridge were the top placing Adult/Jr. team out of the money & also won $150.
