Kerr Lake July 11th at Henderson point Shelter # 2.
sponsored by Money Concepts; David and Kyle hackney. They gave $500 for 1st place. N.C.Central division gave extra $300 1st place,$200 for second, and $100 for third place. Also i gave a J.B. rod for 2nd place big fish.
We had a great time. Had 19 boats. We got in the water quickly so I was able to get devotion done before safe light. I talked about what it cost to follow Jesus. No matter what the cost Jesus will multiply it by a hundred fold according to Mathew 19:29"and everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands for my name's sake, shall receive a hundred fold, and inherit eternal life."ESV. So matter what you have to give up to follow Jesus he will give you much much more. He ask us to give it all up and take up our cross and follow him. Sacrifice it all and he will give you eternal life. I heard my pastor say one time"you can't take it with you but you can have it waiting on you when you get there." Giving your life totally to Christ how freeing is that. WOW HE is an awesome God , Try it sometime when you get tired of all this world has to offer. You still have storms but you can have peace going thru them. and best part eternal life in Christ Jesus. The only way there is a personnal relationship with Jesus, not praying a prayer or doing anything else just a personnal relationship with God's Lamb.
We weighed in at 1pm to take it easy on the fish and the old men(i'm in that bunch). The winners were Calton Hall and Jason Suggs with a total weight 13.61,2nd place was Matt and Len Priode with 11.56, 3rd place was Terry Smith and Rodney Pope with 10.89. Big fish went to Calton Hall and Jason Suggs weighing 3.90. 2nd place big fish winning JB Rod Jeremy Moody and Lucas Lobaugh weighing 3.40.
Points champions are Josh and Jesse Wise with total of 437 and Terry Smith and Rodney Pope came in 1 point behind them with 436.
