Day two of the District 10 Championship on East Fork Lake came to an end with the fishing even tougher than on day one. Even though the fishing was very tough at this event everyone had the same water available, and some teams were able to catch enough fish to make there way to the National Championship while others were not so fortunate.
The team of John Santos and Matthew McClanahan brought three fish to the scales on day two which proved to be enough to make them the District 10 Champions. Their two day total was eight bass weighing 12.82 pounds. Congratulations to John and Matthew. Mike Boggs and Curt Fish also brought three fish to the scales on day two, weighing 3.19 pounds and stayed in second place with a total of 11.67 pounds. The teams of Ryan Neal and Robert Campbell and Steve Boggs and Mark Schabel also punched a ticket to the nationals for finishing in the top twenty percent.
Also going to the National Championship was Mark Landis and Nick Church who were the highest finishing BassCat team. Jebadiah Bond and Kelby Waldrip were our highest finishing Mercury team and James Fitzgerald and Michelle Gallagher were the highest finishing male / female team.
Thanks to all the teams for enduring the tough conditions they faced
