The final Tournament of the 26 season kicked off Friday night at Steel Waters Hunt Club where our anglers were treated to a Ribeye steak supper! Afterwards The Bass Chaplain Chris Wells brought a great message prompting several to make important decisions about their relationship with Christ!

Saturday morning started early with a 5:45 Blast-off with a lot on the line including the 2026 Points title that would be worth over $2600

Santee has been pumping out impressive bags all year and Saturday did not dissappoint. 

Taking the win and the $2500 First place check was Corey Casey with a limit weighing 27.59 lbs

Finishing a close 2nd were Santee Hammers Ken Ellis and Chuck Howard with 27.36 a bag anchored by not 1 but 2 8 lbers

In 3rd was the team of James and Michael Gibbons with 26.95 lbs

4th Place went to marshall French and Tripp Poplin with 25.77 lbs

Rounding out the top 5 was the team of Eric Glenn and William Bond with 25.17 lbs

Tucker Veronee and Landon Gramling weighed 22.66 lbs which was enough to overtake leaders Wendall Causeyand Brandon Jeffcoat and claim the 2026 Points Champions Title, a berth in the 2027 National Championship and a bunch of cash. Congratulations!
