West Virginia Eastern Panhandle - Legacy

About This Division

We are excited for the 2022 FOM Legacy Eastern Panhandle season!  Matthew 4:19 says “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”  This series is about catching fish and also followers for Christ.  We focus on three things:

1.) Learning about Jesus.

2.) Being with friends and family on the water.

3.) Fishing and HAVING FUN!!!

This season we will hold three tournaments. 

Tournament #1: 

April 23 - Potomac River, Dargan Bend Ramp, from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. 

Tournament #2: 

May 14  – Shenandoah River, Shannondale Access Ramp, from 6:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Tournament #3: 

June 4 – Shenandoah River, Moulton Park Acess, from 6:30 am to 12:30pm.

To participate, a team must consist of one angler who has reached his/her 19th birthday before Jan 1, 2022 and one angler who has not reached his/her birthday before Jan 1,  2022. To register, complete the Legacy Member application on line at the National website. The membership will go directly to the National office. There is a pay-pal button to pay.   There are two types of memberships, one Family membership which allows you to fish whichever Team or Legacy event or an individual Membership which allows you to fish one trail. There is a small paypal processing fee that will be added to the membership. The memberships are $40 for individual and $60 for family plus processing fee. Additional Legacy membership information can be found on the Legacy Home page on the National website  www.FOMNTT.com . We will be accepting memberships starting now and would like to extend an invitation to join us this season where young anglers and their adult partners continue to compete in professional team trail tournaments. Tournament entry fees are $80 per tournament.

Tournament registration will be open until 6:00 pm Friday prior to the tournament. 

Both smallmouth and largemouth bass meeting the states minimum length requirements can be weighed in.
