Welcome to Texas East!
In the vast and diverse state of Texas, where outdoor enthusiasts find solace in nature's beauty, the Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail's Texas East Division stands as a beacon of faith, fellowship, and competitive angling on our two principle lakes, Lake Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend. Here, amateur anglers converge to cast their lines, reel in trophy catches, and strengthen their spiritual connections. For many participants, Fishers of Men Texas East Division isn't merely a fishing event; it's a life-altering experience. Anglers often recount stories of personal growth, deepened spirituality, and a greater sense of purpose in their fishing endeavors. They utilize their talents not just to catch fish but also to spread their faith and positively influence their communities.
The Fishers of Men Texas East Division stands as an embodiment of how faith, sport, and community can intersect to create a profound and fulfilling experience. By embracing the values of faith, competition, community engagement, and discipleship, this division has transformed the lives of countless anglers. *Texas East 2025 Eligibility Change
Licensed Professional Guides (fresh water) who hold a special license and have provided guide services on the tournament lake in the preceding 30 days, before the tournament, may not fish the tournament. A Guide may guide on other lakes prior to the tournament, but guiding on the tournament lake within the 30 days of the tournament will exclude the guide from entering and fishing the tournament. Additionally, Licensed Professional Guides, with a Fishers of Men Annual Membership(2025), may not provide information to Tournament Anglers competing in any Texas East division tournament during the same 30 day pre-tournament time frame.
We are excited that this new rule change will level the playing field to more accommodate the amateur anglers in our fishing family. Please share this with all of your angler friends and family.
