Alan Shinn & Michael Swaringen take home $4,900 with the win on Badin
The NC Piedmont division of FOM kicked off its 2024 season with a great afternoon at Rock Outdoors. We want to thank Rock Outdoors for the great meal and hospitality.
Alan, Myra, and Angel Thompson gave their testimony on how God had healed cancer and worked in their lives over the years and has grown their faith and used them to be a blessing to others through the miracle He performed.
We blasted off a record 92 boats Saturday morning to light rains and wind. Later in the day as it cleared the wind got up and helped increase the bites.
The team of Alan Shinn & Michael Swaringen brought in 18.69 pounds and took 1st place and $4,900. They reported catching their fish on crankbaits and jigs.
The team of Roger Hoover & Scott Hamrick took 2nd place with 18.55 pounds and the big fish of the tournament 5.83 pounds. Their winnings were $2,240. They reported catching their fish on crankbaits.
Michael Kinard and Aaron Harwood took 3rd place with 18.48 pounds and winnings of $1,400. They reported catching their fishing flipping and on jigs.
Rounding out the teams in the money was 4th place Chad Poteat & Maurice Freeze with 17.97 pounds. 5th place Cody & James Thompson with 17.76 pounds. 6th place was Mark Murphy & Jarrett Albright with 17.62 pounds. 7th place was Scott & Matt Henley with 17.38 pounds. 8th place was Timothy & Allen Robbins with 17.16 pounds. 9th place was Shawn Williams & Dustin Fincher with 17.11 pounds. 10th place was Gregory Garland & Philip King with 16.78 pounds. 11th place was Colby Russell & Pierson Page with 16.46 pounds. 12th place was Chris Brown with 16.46 pounds. 13th place was Mike Kiser & Robbie Moffitt with 16.05 pounds. 14th place was a tie David Miller & Michael Huffman and the team of Jarrett Freeze & Rodney Adams with 15.74 pounds. 16th place was Michael Allen & Rusty Melton with 15.49 pounds. 17th place was Dave Snyder & John Griffin with 15.42 pounds. And 18th place was Joshua & Neil Preslar with 14.51 pounds.
