It doesn't seem possible, but the 2022 season is behind us.
For the last event of the year, Jeremy Knepp and BJ Worland topped the field again with a 3 fish limit that weighed 12.50lb. Their limit included the night's biggest fish at 5.29lb.
Fishing second was Sam and Ron Maxwell. Ron wasn't able to be there, but Sam and his sub brought in a limit weighing 9.85lb. Taking home the third place money was Gary and Nate Higgins with a limit of 9.22lb.
The Season Points Championship race came down to a the very last fish. Comng into the last event, Gary and Nate Higgins had 1752 point. right behind them, Ron and Sam Maxwell had 1750. While Ron and Sam did what they could to make the 2 point jump by finishing second, Gary and Nate were able to hold them off with a third plae finish, only giving up one point. The final score: Gary and Nate - 1850, Ron and Sam - 1849.
Congratulations to both teams on a great season.
