Chris Baldus along with junior anglers Aslyn and Adleigh claim the 2021 Legacy National Championship Title.

Alabama can be know for a change in weather conditions such as a quick moving summer thunderstorm that took it's toll on the weigh-in site Friday evening.  Fortunately there wasn't much damage done and things were back to normal for a Saturday morning blast-off for Day 2 of the Legacy National Championship on Lake Wheeler.  The weather conditions were about the same as we experienced on Friday with plenty of heat but coupled with a little more wind that helped the fish cooperate more.

Team Baldus from the Alabama North West Division lead on Day 1 with 9.59 pounds and brought another 3 fish limit to the scales on Day 2 of 8.04 with a big fish of 4.12 pounds.  That gave them a winning two day total of 17.63 pounds and well over $2,000 for the weekend.  

Not far behind was the 2nd place team of Ronnie and Lane Mueller from the Low Country of South Carolina with a two day total of 17.35 pounds.

Finishing 3rd was Greg and Wyatt Tomlin from AL NW with a two day total of 17.24 pounds.
