2024 TYLER FORD INVITATIONAL 

For the past 18 years Tyler Ford has come along side of the TX North Central Division of Fishers of Men.  Tyler Ford opened up there sales showroom and allowed us to meet and eat while business was taking place.  The meal was sponsored and Bodacious BBQ was enjoyed by all, even some of the customers.  The meeting went well and we were all reminded that we have all sinned and fall short.  The GOOD NEWS was shared that Jesus Christ paid a penalty that we could not pay, by dying on the cross.  We need to repent and place our faith in Jesus and what He did.  It is not by our "good works" that we are judged righteous. 

Twenty-nine teams signed up to battle the cold and icy conditions.  The morning temperature was 19 degrees and it did not take but a couple of casts to have rod eyes and line coated and filled with ice.  The wind was light, but it was below freezing until noon.  The weather did not stop the team of Tanner French and Hayden Marshall.  These two combined for a 5 fish limit weighing 30.92 pounds.  They collected a check for a total of $9,385.50!  Rounding out the Top 6 were: Powell 24.55, Russell/Peiper 19.67, Ferguson/Thompson 19.14, Spalding/Dobbins 18.25, and Parks 17.19.
