Texas East's 4th stop of the year was presented by Terrill Petroleum and Gary and Laurie Baker.  We were blessed to once more be hosted by FBC Hemphill.  The pre-tournament banquet was outstanding as we had fellowship,  fried chicken green beans and salad with all kinds of delicious deserts.  Pastor Jeff Berger, FBC Conroe, was our guest speaker and he brought a great story of dealing with lifes storms.  The spirit was moving and we had two men enter into a first time relationship with Jesus and two more that rededicated their lives to a fresh new walk with the Lord.

Saturday was absolutely beautiful however the lake was being a little stingy  and the fish were a little off but we still had some quality sacks come across the scales.  Finishing first was the team of Kaden Mueck and Case Sutherland with a 20.87 stringer.  Second place was the father son team of Billy and Zane Parker with a 19.98 bag.  Zane also had our big fish of the day with toad that tipped the scales at 7.67.  Rounding out the top three was the team of Randy Despino and Kevin Lasyone with a 19.58 sack.  Special thanks goes out to Randy for supplying a release boat and fish care.

Texas East's next event is on Sam Rayburn on May 3rd.  We are going all out to see if we can break a Texas East record for attendance.  We have Griff Griffon from "The Bayou" coming to share his heart and lay down a life challenge, it will be epic!  To help encourage our folks, we are going to payout $10,000 first place, $5000 second place and $2500 third place guaranteed!  Do your part, invite, invite, invite!!  

Our 2025 Division champions will be crowned and we have some great prizes to give away to two lucky teams that have fished all five events!  You don't want to miss this!!
