How time flies! Already on our last tournament for 2025. We had 21 teams together Friday afternoon for grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. Big thanks to Terry Hayden and Brian Butler for grilling. They were great, even though somebody forgot to bring the buns ????. I am getting older. Myself and Brian Butler both spoke about what Fishers of Men ment to us. How we were family. How we need to share Jesus with others. Brian had us stand and hold hands and pray for the person you were holding hands with. What a special moment. Big thanks to Brian for being our Chaplain.
Saturday morning came and we left at safe light looking for a hot bite. Old Hickory is full of 13 inch fish! Sounded like a lot of fish were caught. 18 - 5 fish limits were brought in. We had a tie for first place. Jeremy Ethridge and Jay Melton tied with Jimmy and Josh Clary with 14.55 pounds. Jeremy and Jay had big fish at 5.24 pounds. Craig Muller and David Prentice were 3rd with 13.40 pounds.
Jeremy and Jay are the Tn. Central division point champions and received an automatic berth to the national tournament. Jimmy and Josh had the heivest stringer 21.66 and the largest bass 6.03 for the year. Eddie Stover and Jonathan Wingo are the winners for the SRM 5 tournaments paid for in 2026.
