Well the Legacy Virginia West had a great start to the season, holding our meeting at Morgans Mill Baptist Church. The teams were fed plenty of Pizza, garlic twists and brownies.
Chris Wells prerecorded our message for the evening and it fit great with the weekend and told us why Easter should be the greatest holiday we ever celebrate. Jesus has risen!!!!! Risen indeed!!!!
Well, Zach Meadows and Shaw Meadows began their season with a win, brining in 11.12lbs, Zach and Jace used swim baits to catch a majority of there weight in the mid-lake area. 2nd was the team of David Mills and Jace Mills with a weight of 10.66lbs. 3rd went to Jared Hubbard, Mica and Isaiah Sowers bringing in 9.99lbs, 4th went to Matt Atkins and Wyatt Atkins with a weight of 9.97lbs, 5th went to Jon Simmons, Cole simmons and Grant Simmons with a weight of 9.18lbs, 6th went to the team of James Mitcham and Jake Mitcham with a weight of 8.99lbs, 7th place went to the team of Jonathan Bailey and Branch Bailey with a weight of 8.38lbs. Just out of the money went to Thomas Thompson and Savion Thompson and they took home two Kister rods for there efforts.
Big fish honors went to the team of Jon Simmons, Cole Simmons and Grant Simmons with a fish of 5.49lbs.
