Our second of event of the 2025 season was having Lake Anna again as day 2. Had clear blue skies and a chili morning to start but turned into a beautiful day! Teams emphasized how fishing from Thursday changed drastically to Friday and then started to transition back to same conditions on our event as Thursday, setting the fish back up how most teams practiced. With the full moon, a new wave of fresh fish moved in seemed over night and our fish went from looking like thin post spawn fish on Friday, to fresh clean healthier looking fish Saturday. Even some bigger quality fish were brought in over all!
We had a BIG BASS Weighed in to kick off the 2nd day caught by Benny Evans weighing in at 6.38 lbs! If it wasn’t already thinned down from the spawn, this fish been pushing 7 lbs!! Congrats for big fish!!
Congrats to Ron Bothwell and Joey Kimble for winning 1st place with 18.43 lbs and having a nice 5.16 lb kicker!
Dustin M Blair and Tony Brown finished 2nd place with 16.11 lbs and they had a nice 5.10 lb kicker!! Congrats guys!! I actually got to witness them hooking and landing that 5lber and recorded it!! Check the video below!! I missed the nerve recking, tail dance head shake on video before I could get phone out and hit record, but got to video Dustin landing his 5 lber!!
Hutch Delaney and Trevor Shaffer finished 3rd place with 14.74 lb. Great job guys!!
Last payout spot, Jonathan Thompson and Tyler Thompson with 7 Rivers Marine, LLC finished 4th with 13.89 lbs.
Thank you for everyone who traveled, fished and supported our first 2 events!!! Give thanks to the Lord for a blessed weekend and see ya’ll May 30th and 31st on Stonewall Jackson Lake!! Should be a great time!
