What a Beautiful Day that God Blessed Us with. We had 5 teams entered and 4 teams were able to fish. We left at safe light looking for some hungry fish, and we all found them. All 4 teams that fished had a 5 fish limit! The fish were biting good. Most if not all the fish were post spawn and trying to fatten back up.Zeke Long and Harry Smith took 1st with 14.42 and big fish at 3.48, 2nd was Bridger and Jeremy Smith with 13.98, 3rd was Samuel and David Hanson with 13.40, 4th was Elijah and Daniel LeFebvre with 11.06. Weights were so close that just 1or 2 bites would have changed everything. What a great day for these young fishermen to be on the water.
After weigh in we had a barbecue lunch. Then our Chaplin Brian Butler led us in a devotional. He started talking about David. How God worked in his life as a young boy. Then he went on about the lentage of David bringing The Mesiah, JESUS. He used John 3:16 as a verse with such a powerful message that The whole bible reflected from. Thanks to Brian for bringing lunch and message and all He does for Fishers of Men. Our next Legacy tournament will be on Old Hickory June 6,2026. I know there is a lot of conflicts, but we would love to have as many as possible to join us. May God Bless you all.
Let's enjoy what GOD HAS CREATED FOR US!
