SC Upstate Legacy Series had 10 boats in our 3rd event on Hartwell, 5/23/2026.
We would like to than Beaverdam Baprtist in Williamston SC for a GREAT Friday night meeting. The guys there KNOW how to treat our anglers.
They prepared a full breakfast/dinner with biscuits, eggs, suasage, bacon, gravy, and oh don't forget the monkey bread surpize!. We had a great time of food and fellowship.
Brother Kieth shared the message. As a fellow angler, he shared how he has always loved to fish. It wasn't always bass, but he has been active to fish for ANY fish. Throughout his life, his focus changed on what the purpose of the fishing trips were about, and simetimes that focus was not about the fish but the family. Many times throughout our faith journey, the focus needs to change as well. In the begining, its about focus on Christ and soon there after about leading others to Christ. Kieth made a good point that its not aways our words, but HOW we live our life that will impact those around us.
The challenge is to keep moving in our Faith. Change the focus as we need to, and make the most of the circumstances that come our way.
Saturday was predicted to have some sketchy weather, but it really turned out to be a great day on the water. We just needed some good rain gear for the showers, but the storms seemed to split around us thorughout the day.
Congratulations to BRAD & TITUS BURDETTE with the WIN! They had 11.7lbs and also held on the BIGH fish with a 5.24 pounder.
2nd Place goes to BILLY CAMPBELL & HUDSON LOGAN with 10.34 lbs
3rd Place was BRYAN & AUSTIN BURTON with 9.86 lbs. AUSTIN also got JR BIG FISH with a 5.21 lber.
