The Fishers of Men Virginia West Paul Menschner State Farm Tournament at Smith Mountain Lake is in the Books and we had a great weekend. Friday evening meeting was at Palestine Baptist Church and we always feel at home there and appreciate all they do for us! The meal they provided was by 3 Bearded Brothers Barbecue and it was great! The speaker Was Paul Menschner and he encouraged us to follow Christ. Thanks Paul! The tournament Saturday morning blasted off to cool but beautiful weather and at the end of the Day the team of Chris Brummett and Al Berkley won with a 26.7 lb bag! They also had the Big bass at 8.08 lbs. They also won the Paul Menschner State Farm bonus. Nice haul guys! In 2nd Place with a 20.87 bag was the team of Zack LeMaster and Mike LeMaster, they also received 2nd place bonus from Paul Menschner State Farm. In third place with 20.25 lbs was the team of Michael Lee and Robert Jason Lee they also received the third place bonus from Paul Menschner State Farm. In 4th was the team of Jared Sowers and Kevin Allison with 19.43. In 5th was the team of Johnny Martin and Boogie Atkins With 19.25. Just out of the money and winning a couple gift certificates from SML Tackleshack with 19.18 was the team of Matt Atkins and Christopher Atkins. Our next tournament is May 2nd at South Holston.
