Well, the morning started out well, we had calm winds, blast off was at 6:30 am. We had several new teams and they are some local sticks that tend to show out with great bags in tournaments. I was very excited that these folks have taken the leadership to introduce there children to a ministry like the fishers of men.

Well, at the end of the day, the Team of Simmons came through for 1st, place, big fish and 1st place bonus bucks, taking home a total of $444.50 for the 10.25lbs they weighed in and big fish weighing 3.82 lbs, congrats to this team and I know yall had a great day.

2nd place went to the Team of Brandon Pritchett and Chase Prichett, they had a weight of 10.12lbs, good enough to take home $165.00.

3rd place went to Steve Coleman and Connor Coleman with a weight of 8.88lbs, and they won 2nd place bonus bucks, and took home $135.00.

Just out of the money was the team of Joshua Dudley and Reid Dudley with a weight of 7.19lbs.

Our 3rd place bonus bucks winner was the team of Christopher "Matt" Atkins and Wyatt Atkins with a weight of 6.91lbs and they took home $35.00.

Thanks to the 11 teams that participated and I look forward to Philpott Lake in May, it will be a much larger event with more stiff competition.
