Jordan and Smith win!

Friday Night Meeting was at New Midway Baptist where all the anglers where served some great home cooking.  And after all the good eating Dr. Ronny Jones delivered an awesome message where three people redidicated their life to the Lord!!

Saturday Morning came with unseasonable warm weather with air temperatures of 60 degrees and light winds.  By weigh-in time Brian Jordan and Michael Smith came to the scales with the Hardee’s Big Bag award which weighted in at 22.97 pounds of largemouth bass.  This heavy bag also included the lunker of the tournament, a beautiful 6.21 lbs. largemouth bass.  This team reported running their Mercury all around the lower to mid-section of the catch their fish on many different lures.  This team is sponsored by White Pine Marine, Mercury Outboards, Phoenix Boats, Dixie Custom Rods, and Tackle Tote-Rite and most of all Jesus.

Second place was Ryan Crouse and Jonathan Russell who came to the scales with 5 fish for 19.70pounds.  This team reported catching over 20 bass a rattle trap fishing shallow water from the main lake points all the way back to the back of the pockets.

Third place was Wade Jenkins and Shawn Monhollen who were blessed with a great day of fishing coming to the scales with 19.44 lbs. bass.  This team ran their Mercury powered boat to the mid-section of the lake to catch their bass off wood in less than five feet of water.

Fourth place went to the team of Derrick Stafford and Chris Willis threw a T Bone A rig all day in 5 to 10 feet of water.  At the end of the day, they returned with 5 fish weighing in at 19.31 pounds.

Fifth Place went to team Eugene Randolph and George Gaylon who came to the scales with 19.03 pounds of bass.  George and Eugene reported catching their fish on rattle traps in shallow pockets off the main lake. 

Next tournament is on Cherokee Lake, Friday Night Meeting is at Leadvale Baptist Church.  We will be blasting off and having weigh-in at the TVA Cherokee Dam Ramp.  Be sure to stop by Hardee's the morning of the tournament and get breakfast!!
