Holder and Collins win Fishers of Men on Dougals Lake!!

Friday Night Meeting was at First Baptist Dandridge where we were greeted with friendly faces and good food after everyone was signed up and belly were full it was time for some preaching.  Jack Hall brought the message, and he did a great use fishing experiences and how we should TRUST God in everything we do by seeking his guidance.

Saturday Morning came with unseasonable warm weather with air temperatures of 60 degrees and light winds.  By weigh-in time Jason Holder and Jonathan Collins came to the scales with15.44 pounds of bass winning the Hardee's Big Bass Award and taking home some serious cash.  This team reported running their Mercury all around the lake catching most of the fish on wacky rig in shallow water they had a limit in the live well by 7:30. This team is sponsored by White Pine Marine.

Second place was Jack Hall and Hoyt Evans who came to the scales with 5 fish for 13.67 pounds.  This team reported catching over 50 bass.  They had a limit in the first five minutes.  They fished shallow most of the  day catching mainly 2 pounds but made a change late in the day to Burtek Tackle Crankin Bug to catch two quality upgrades.

Third place was Randall Clark and Bryson Bradley who were blessed with a great day of fishing coming to the scales with 13.37 lbs. bass.  This team report catching a couple of good ones on top-water at first light.  Later they fished deeper, focusing on isolated wood to finish out their limit.

Fourth place went to the team of Eugene Randolf and George Galyon this talented team ran their Mercury Outboard to the mid-section of the lake to catch their fish on many different lures throughout the day.  Eugene reported catching over 50 fish before bring back five that hit the scales at 13.29 pounds.

Lunker of the tournament went to Rod Garrett and Paul Rogers with a beautiful Douglas largemouth that weighed in at 3.85 pounds!
