Day 2 on the Harris Chain brought a steady North wind that changed the bite for alot of anglers, and for a few it was a much better day on the water. Our day 1 leaders were able to secure the win and berth to the National Championship with a 15.89 limit that gave them a two day total of 42.63 lbs. The team reported that they could not fish their day 1 fish because of the wind, and stayed close on Lake Harris to catch all of thier fish on Day 2.
Finishing a close 2nd, Billy Taylor and William McDevitt with another consistant bag tipping the scales at 21.31 for a total of 41.34 lbs, and finishing out our 3rd place slot, Donald Fisher & Brian Nelson made a huge move on Day 2 with the largest bag of the day weighing in at 22.16 lbs. The bag was anchored by the big bass of the day, tipping the scales at 6.04 lbs.
Terry & Kim Mullis secured the highest Male/Female team, while the Adult/Jr slot was filled by Savie & Ty Goff, both teams have earned a berth to the National Championship.
The final team qualifying this weekend, Steve & Trina Pritchard filled the highest finishing Bass Cat owner slot, with their 7th place finish. Congratulations to all who have earned a berth to the National Championship.
