Rutherford and Parker take the win on Murray
Our Easter weekend Tournament on Lake Murray kicked off with our Devotion Saturday morning highlighted by the playing of S M Lockridge’s famous sermonette titled “Sundays Coming” Check it out on YouTube for yourself.
The final coldsnap of the spring pushed thru just prior to the event. Anglers were greeted to frost on their boats and a temperature of 30 degrees at Blast-off. Besting the field was the team of Brad Rutherford and Tanner Parker who brought 19.62 lbs to the scales including a pair of Studs, one of which claimed the Big Fish award, a 6.78 lb beauty. Altogether they took home almost $2500
Finishing 2nd and taking over the Points lead was the team of Darrell Shull and James Vining who brought 17.89 to the scales and earned them over $1300
In 3rd was the team of Ronnie Mueller and Michael Royals who subbed in for Wayne Frierson whose limit weighed 15.84 lbs earing them $750
Coming in 4th was the team of Jason Fulmer and Steve Pizzino who weighed 15.74 lbs.
Rounding out the top 5 was the team of Lee Sawyer and Cole Winn with 15.54 lbs
