We had a beautiful day on Buggs Island with 37 teams competing for the best day on the water. When all was said and done the Husband and Wife team of Mike and Allison Williams bested the field with a 18.26lb bag and the events 5.27lb Big Bass! Rounding out the 7 paying spots for this event was:
2nd place - Ray Armes/Don Wheeler 15.78lbs
3rd place- Michael Heatwole 14.34lbs
4th place - Chris Atkins/Stephen Costa 13.63lbs
5th place - Jay Griffin/Doug Wharton 13.62lbs
6th place - Jason Brooks/Neal Lloyd 13.41lbs
7th place - Eric Rowe/Eddie Griggs 13.01lbs
Just out of the money team was Eddie Gantt and Joey Branch who took home two casting rods for their efforts.
Our Romans 5:3-6 perserverance award went to the team of Kenny Banes & Chris Garthright they took home two $25 BPS gift cards.
