What an event!

Its quite possible everyone in the state that owend a boat was on the lake with us on this first real warm weekend of the summer!!

Lake Anna proved to be stingy as well. Many teams reported catching fish but most were small, the better bite seemed to be first part of the day. Brandon Smith and his partner came in with 14.01lbs to take top spot for the win and first place Bonus Bucks. As a Power Pole captains cash participant they also are able to take advantage of that sponsors contignency. 

Second went to Melvin Fulk and Bryan Conley with 12.11lbs, Wilson Bradley and Robert Carter were third place and second in Bonus Bucks with 11.52lbs. Roundimg out the money spots were:

4th: Eddie Gantt /Joey Branch 11.37lbs

5th: Jay Griffin/ Doug Wharton 11.29lbs , with event big fish of 4.65lbs

6th: Tim Payne/Erik Anderson 11.16lbs 

Our James River Logistics "just out of the money" award went to the team of Adam Szalankiewicz and Cale Agee, they recieved two Abu Garcia rods.  Our "Romans 5:3-6, Perserverance Award" went to Tony Clark and Steve Quesenberry who recieved two $25 gift cards.

The Virginia East crew wants to thank all of the teams for coming out and to the family and friends who came to support their anglers during weigh in. We love seeing that at the events and enjoy hanging out with all of you!
