Friday Night Meeting was at Whites Creek Baptist Church.  The church family smoked meat all day long  to provide the fishermen with some of the best barbeque in the South.  After everyone was full, Roger Britton delivered a message on don't make excuses that made everyone stop and think about what the Lord wants you to do with your life.

Saturday morning the Fishers of Men gang awoke to partly cloudy skies and warm breeze blowing across the lake.  The fish did not as good as they had in years pass but in the end someone always figures them out.

 First place Ameriprise Award went to the team of  the Rod Garret and Paul Rogers with 3 fish weighing in at 11.24 pounds. Their winning bag of fish included the tournament lunker a 5.09 largemouth.  As is the norm with this team they used a jig in shallow water to catch their fish.  Paul and Rod reported catching over 10 keepers during the day to bring the 3 biggest back to Lakeside Resort for weigh-in

Second place went to the team of Kenny Bishop and Ed Kyte.  These seasoned pros came to the scales with 3 bass weighing in at 10.93 lbs.  Kenny reported that they did their usual thing they do every year and stayed in Whites Creek area.  They used a deep running crankbait and Carolina Rig to catch their fish.

Third place went to Brian Jordan and Michael Smith.  This team came to the scales with 3  fish weighing in at 9.41 lbs.  Brian reported running their Mercury powered boat down to the lower end of the lake to catch their fish.  This talented team used a big crankbait to catch their fish off points fishing around 15 feet of water.  They credit their Dixie Custom Rod Ledge Rockets which allowed them to make longer cast to get their plugs to greater depths.  This team is sponsored by Mercury,  Dixie Custom Baits, Tote Rite and White Pine Marine.

Fourth place went to the father and son team of Ben and Bobby Boggs 3 fish weighing at 8.89 pounds.  Ben reported flipping, Carolina Rig and football jig to catch their fish.
