FYI- Chaumont Bay has the potential for rough water any time of the year. For this reason it is possible that we could have to move the tournament for safty reasons. The alternate site will be Sandy Pond.
Chaumont Bay tournament procedures will be as follows We will be holding a Friday night outdoors gathering at the Chaumont Bay Boat launch.
Hrs- 5:45AM-2:30PM
Launch-We will Launch from the Chaumont bay Public Boat Launch-Boat Launch Rd, Lyme, NY 13622
Friday night Gathering timeline- We will find a place in the grass area to set up. If you want to bring a chair, feel free. With the long drive for most people we will start at 5:30PM and try to get you out by 6:30PM. Registrations and entry fees and tournament bags-Food provided during this time. Devotional and review of the rules and Procedures
- Arrive at ramp- No Parking fee. I will be at the ramp at 5:30AM to begin live well check - We will have a prayer when everyone has arrived and I have checked live wells. We will launch by blast off numbers (randomly assigned by the computer). You will receive boat #,s by email. You will launch and take off.
2) Social distancing and face covering in launch area will be at your own discretion. Please show respect to others.
3) Weigh ins.- At 2:30PM- Pull out and walk your fish to the scale. Get a bag if needed and bring your fish to the scales when ready.
4) I will weigh bags one team at a time – after fish are weighed Julie will take pictures.
5) Release your fish at the dock.
6) Awards will follow the weigh-ins.
