Day 2 started out with temps in the low 60's and a light breeze. Twelve teams set out with the hope they would add to their Day 1 weight or some teams would just be happy to weigh in a keeper Bass. At 3:00 PM all teams made it back and one by one teams brought their catch to the scales. The teams that caught limits on Day 1 backed it up on Day 2. The team of Thomas Redding and Michael Obal from Iowa caught 17.33lbs of Bass including the Day 2 Big Bass weighing 4lbs. Their combined weight totaled 28.91 lbs giving them the win and making them the 2021 District 11 Champions. They earned checks and plaques and earned a berth in the National Championship in March 2022. Second Place was the Husband and Wife team of Brian And Lauri Lopp of Illinois Central who weighed in 15.00 lbs on Day 2 giving them a two day total of 27.15 lbs. Thrid Place was the Indiana South team of Tim Maupin and Chris Burk weighed 11.88 lbs making their two day total of 25.68 lbs. Fourth place was the team of Sam and Don Fish from Alabama Central with a two day total of 21.27 lbs. rounding out the top 5 was the Illinois team of Tom Lindsey and Dusty Whitaker with a two day total of 20.77 lbs. All the aforementioned teams qualified to fish in the 2022 National Championship.
