It was a beautiful day on the Potomac River for our second tournament of the 2021 season out of Dargan Bend. We started the day by looking at the passage with Joshua and God’s promise to never leave or forsake him. We must constantly stay connected to God and his power. If we let off the wheel or trolling motor it will run its own course, we must stay connected to God!
It was cloudy most of the day, so thankfully it didn’t get too warm. The fish are about done eating all the cicadas they could have wanted over the last few weeks so the fishing was a little slower but several fish were caught and weighed in.
First place goes to the team of Jeff Copenhaver and Joah Coley. They weight in 4 fish for 6.26lbs. June bug crawfish type baits were their weapons of choice today.
Second place goes to the team of Kevin, Morgan and Daniel Coley. They weighed in 4 fish for 5.46lbs. They also had the big fish which was a 2.7 lb smallie that thought he was a 10 lber ??. Chatterbaits and spinnerbaits (it was windy) is how they caught there fish.
What a great day!Tournament #2 - Dargan - 06/26/21
