We want to thank everyone for helping to get the 2022 season kicked off!

Special thank you t othe host Union Chapel Baptist Church, through them and the long time support of Sherry and her family, FOM Va East has always had a wonderful time at this venue. 

Most importantly we had a young man indicate he wanted to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior! This is why we do what we do, to bring folks to a saving realtionship with Christ! Good Fishing is just a by-product!

Our tournament day started cold hovering right at freezing and cloudy,  and only seemed to warm a few degrees throughout the day for the 31 boats. Early season can always be a little iffy but there are teams that figure something out. This weekend it was the team of Walter Emerson and Brody Webb who brought a 17lb bag of bass to the scales to take the top spot, they also had a 5.19lb bass that tied for big fish of the event! Sam and Aaron Fisher also had a 5.19lb largemouth to share the big fish spot.

The 6 money spots rounded out as follows: 

2nd - Jay Griffin/Doug Wharton - 15.67

3rd - Bo Bandy/Walter Hill - 15.08

4th - Brandon Hill/Kevin King - 14.57

5th - Michael & Allison Williams - 14.42

6th - Shannon Spradlin/Cody Herndon - 13.53

The team of Whitfield/Lindamood recieved the Anglers Bait & Tackle just out of the money award in 7th place, in 28th Curtis&Rhonda Welton brought home the Romans 5:3-6 Perservereance award presented by River Rat Apparrel.
