What a great event! Friday night we were hosted by Ferry Farm Baptist Church. This is their second year hosting a Fishers of Men event and we are so grateful for their hospitality!

Our message was given by a long time Fishers of Men member and competitor, the mix of gospel and his own testimony was very stirring and made us all realize no matter who we are, where we've been or what we've done Gods grace IS big enough for us all...Amen!

Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day on the river, the 37 teams were off bright and early to see how they would fare on the day. A spring with some very up and down weather and a 15" size made the day a little tough on a few teams. 

The team of Kevin King and Brandon Hill brought a nice bag of fish to the scales weighing 18.69lbs including the 4.50lb event big fish! rounding out the top 5 were:

2nd: Melvin Bowling and his son as a sub - 16.90lbs

3rd: Bo Bandy and Walter Hill - 16.29lbs

4th: Walter Emerson and Brody Webb - 15.72lbs

5th: Bradley Whitfield and Brian Lindamood - 15.51lbs

Congrats to all the teams, we are well  into the second half of the season with two events left. Next up is the James river out of Hopewell marina on May 14th. See you all soon!
