Our season has came to an end.  We have had a great year, and we once again had our final stop at Green River Lake.  The weekend started off at Campbellsville Christian Church for our Friday night meeting.  After a great meal we heard a special message from Rick Corran a member of CCC.  Saturday morning 25 teams blasted off at safe light.  The weather was great on Saturday, and there was just a handful of teams that was still mathematically in the running for the points championship.  The team of Wilcher and Stomburger brought in the winning weight of 14.98lbs. Tj said they caught their fish in water that was between 12-20 feet deep, using crankbaits, spoons, and big worms.  In second place was the team of Denny and McGuffey with 12.09lbs.  Bob Denny said they caught their fish using shakey heads around wood cover.  In third place with 11.64lbs. was the team of Bowling and Simpson.  Richard stated that their fish was also caught on shakey heads in 15 to 20 feet of water.  The team leading the points champsionship struggled during the tournament.  They started and ended the day with boat trouble but caught enough fish to take the championship.  Ted Grigsby and Kelly Poynter is the 2022 South Central Ky points champions.  They get a automatic bid to the National Championship and won 710.00 for their effort.  Congratulatins guys!  This has been a very fun season and I hope to see everyone at the District Championship on Laurel Lake.  Keep a watch on the website for the 2023 season to be posted, I have already started thinking about it and will have the schedule out around September.  I would like to thank everyone that fished with us this year and hope to see you all next season.
