What a beautiful day it was for a Bass Tournament at Lake Springfield. Our first couple events gave us some nasty weather with super high winds for the first and rain and thunderstorms for the second. Third time is a charm right? Matteo Turano and his mother Kristine Turano put on a show today with 15.88 to take the win including the Scheels Big Bass award with a 4.20 lb largemouth. Earning them Plaques, loot, and lots of memories. Congratulations to Matteo and Kristine! Second place was the team of Jim Dietel and Kerry Kerry-Michelle Malone with 14.59lbs. Third Place was the team of Mark Rahn and Jason Stomberg with 13.73lbs. Fourth Place was the team of Gerry Gerald L. Sandretto and Dave Schultz with 13.48lbs. There were seventeen five fish limits weighed in out of 21 boats and all fish were released alive. thanks to all our local sponsors who make our events so much fun.
