2022 SEASON - EVENT #2

BULL SHOALS - BUCK CREEK 

A big "THANK YOU" to Pastor Burl and the Fountain Church in Theodosia!  That may have been the best meal we have every had at a FOMNTT event!  And the messege was not bad either Pastor! 

Saturday morning started off COLD & foggy, air temperture around 39 degree with the water temp. at a surpising 52 degrees.  The day started and ended with clear blue bird skys with NO wind until around 11 oclock and even then it was only 5-10mph.  This made for a tough day of fishing for most of the teams, but not for Mark Lewis and Scott Dennis who managed to bring 5 alive to the scales for a total of 14.76lbs with a 4.50lb kicker to win 1st place and take big bass!  Cledas Manuel and Ben Jones came in 2nd with 14.09lbs, just beating out Tony Mayfield & Fisher Mayfield who brought in 14.00lbs for 3rd (3.41lbs Kicker).  Most of the teams caught them on main wind blown channel swing points on jerk baits & Jig headed worms.  Some of the others were caught with Chatter baits and Rock Crawlers.
