Congratulations to Brian Rusher and Jeff Zuder on their third win of the season!
Brian and Jeff were able to find a 3-fish limit that weighed 11.93lb. Their limit included the big fish of the night at 4.63lb.
Jeremy Knepp and BJ Worland finished second with a lomit that weighed 10.04lb. And coming in third was Ron and Sam Maxwell with 8.10lb.
The season Points Championship race is heating up and will come down to the last tournament. Gary and Nate Higgins are still holding on to the lead, but Ron and Sam Maxwell have closed the gap, and they trail Gay and Nate by only two points. These two teams have fished well enough this season that all of the other teams are mathmatically eliminated with only one event left. Good luck to both teams!
After getting the opinion of all of our anglers through some surveys, it appears that we'll be returnig to Boggs for the 2023 season (as long as the park issues permits). There may be some exciting changes... stay tuned.
I want to say a special "Thank You" to our Chaplain, Ron Maxwell for delivering awesome inspirational messages to us all season long. Behind the scenes, Ron has been a tremendous help to me in running the division since we started a few years ago. Due to severe allergies, he will most likely have to miss the last tournament of the season, so we'll say "thank you" and "stay well".
Our next tournament will be on August 16 and it will be the last of the season.
Fishers of Men would like to thank all our National Sponsors; Bass Cat Boats, Mercury, Realtree Fishing, Abu Garcia, Berkley, Spiderwire DuraBraid, FireFly Outdoor & Marine, T&H Marine, Frogg Toggs, Jacobs Glass, Power-Pole, and X2 Power.West Boggs-9 - 08/02/22
