The 2nd tournament of the year is in the books and the weather at the Paull Menschner State farm tournament on Smith Mountain Lake was not what we had hoped for with cold gusty winds and overcast skies. The weekend started out great with a good meeting at Radford Baptist church. They have a great facility there and we are so thankful for them allowing us to meet there. The meal was Provided by Santana Kinlaw at Edward jones and did not dissapoint. Thanks again for the Meal! A Custom Rod was provided for us to give away by Back Creek Custom Rods and was a big hit. Thanks again Mike Ward for your support! 

We blasted off at 7am in cool overcast conditions and when it was all said and done the team of Jared Sowers and Kevin Allison won the event and the EXTRA $1000 provided by Paul Menschner State Farm with a good bag of 20.47! In 2nd place with a good bag of 19.78 was the team of Boogie Atkins and MontyAtkins They also had big fish with a 6+. Coming in third with a bag of 18.32 was the team of Todd Langford and Thomas Harden. In 4th was the team of Robert Rakes and Michael Myers with a bag of 17.29. Rounding out the money for this event was the team of Jason Lee and AJ Smithwith 16.83. Just out of the money and receiving 2 new ABU Garcia Rods was the team of Dwaiin Bever and Lacy Burnette.

Our next tournament is just a few weeks away at Claytor Lake Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
