Jordan and Smith win Douglas Tounament sponsored by White Pine Marine.

Friday Night Meeting was at Leadvale Missionary Baptist Church.  This is one of the favorite stops on the Fishers of Men Tour because of all the great home cooking.  After everyone was done eating the Brandon delivered a heart-felt message about how men need to step up and be leaders.

Saturday morning the Fishers of Men gang awoke to cool temperatures and cloudy skies giving way to clear skies by lunch time. 

 First place Ameriprise Award went to White Pine Pro-Staffers Brian Jordan and Michael Smith with 5 fish weighing 14.12 lbs.  This seasoned team used a jerk-bait, spinnerbait and senko to catch their fish.  Michael reported running his Mercury powered White Pine Marine Boat up and down the lake to catch their fish from shallow water.  This team is now the points leader going into the fourth tournament of the year.  They are sponsored by Dixie Custom Rods, White Pine Marine, Mercury and Tote Rite

Second place went to the Team of Matt and Bob Coughlin with 5 bass weighing in at 12.08 lbs.  This father and son team reported that running their Mercury outboard all over beautiful Douglas Lake to catch their fish on a swimbait from 20 feet of water.

Third place went to the team of Jason White and Chet Burgess who weighed in 5 fish at 11.55-pounds.  Jason reported catching their fish from shallow water.  This talented team used a variety of different lures to catch their fish from shallow water.

Fourth place went to the father and son team of Devon and Ben Jagger who came to the scales with 5 fish weighing in at 11.35 pounds.  The team bag also had the lunker of the tournament a beautiful 4.56 pound-largemouth bass.

Look forward to seeing everyone June 3 for the Watts Bar Tournament out of Lakeside Resort.
