Texas East Stop #2  presented by Beacon Wealth Management - Toledo Bend

Stop #2 found us at Toledo Bend once again.  Our great hosts, FBC Hemphill, rolled out the red carpet and opened their beautiful family life center to our pre-tournament banquet.  We were blessed to have a great Italian dinner provided by Skero Furniture.  Our Texas East team outdid themselves by serving the over 340 people that attended the banquet.  Our guest speaker, Jeff Fritscher, Founder Legacy Outfitters, brought the message and the spirit moved as we had 5 first time decisions for the Lord.  God is so good and He has His hands on the Texas East Division.

The weather was perfect as 105 teams hit the lake with thoughts of big sacks and a chance to stand in the winners circle.  At the end of the day it was long time Texas East angler, Cody Pitt that brought a sack that weighed 34.98 lbs!  He was closely followed by an adult junior team of Billy and Zane Parker who tipped the scales with a bag that weighed 34.75. Zane also had the big fish of the day, 10.69 lbs.  Rounding out the top three teams was our long time member Tater Reynolds and George Jeanne Jr. with a stringer that was just a hair behind the two leaders at 34.39.  All in all it was an exciting day and the Lord was glorified.

Looking forward to seeing all of these folks on our first tournament on Rayburn for 2024 on the 23rd of March.
