2023 Berkley Team Series District 9 Championship

 The District ( Championship kicked off Thursday night at New Vision Baptist Church in Smyrna TN where our anglers heard a challenging message from Brad White the Men's Ministry Pastor at New Vision. Special thanks to Rutherford County CVB and Smyrna Redi Mix who hosted this event.

Friday morning dawned clear with light winds as our anglers left the dock on Percy Priest Lake in search of a 5 fish limit.

Leading the charge on Day 1 was the team of Brent Walker and Billy Hinson who brought a mixed bag of Largemouth and Smallmouth weighing 17.55 lbs

In 2nd was the team of Jack Dunaway and Barry Brown whose limit pushed the scales to 16.67 lbs

Sitting in 3rd is the team of Donnie and Travis Wormsley with 15.11 lbs

The Father/Son team of Steve and Chad Sentell are in 4th with 14.91 lbs

Rounding out the Top 5 is the team of Bob Denny and Logan Estes who had 14.73 lbs

Michael Story and Jack Nichols had the Day 1 Big Bass a beautiful 5 lb Largemouth.
