The Berkley Classic Series District 3 Championship Presented by Realtree kicked off Wednesday evening at the Hilton Garden Inn Conference Center thanks to our Host Visit Anderson and Neil Paul and Whitney Ellis. Our anglers were treated to some of the best Spagehti you've ever tasted with all the trimmings before settling in to here a message from The Bass Chaplain Chris Wells. Chris challenged our anglers to to be Active not Passive in several areas of our lives as it pertains to our walk with Christ.
Thursday moring brought light winds and mild temperatures to Lake Hartwell as our 47 teams left the dock in search of limits of Largemouths and Spots.
Leading the charge on Day 1 was the team of William and Mark Anglin from GA-North with a nice limit that weighed 15.21 lbs
In 2nd is the team of Jonathan and Wayne Botts who followed close behind with 14.43 lbs
Sitting in 3rd is the team of Randy and Kevin Dickson with 13.80 lbs
4th Place is held down by the team of Danny Ashley and Blake Riddle with 13.64 lbs
Rounding out the Top 5 is the team of Jeff and Roy Phillips with 13.28 lbs
Brandon and Marc Eggers weighed the Days Big Bass a Magnum 4.92 lb Spot.
