The Berkley Classic Series Wildcard Qualifier Presented by Realtree Fishing kicked off on Thursday night in Florence where Tackle Warehouse Pro and YouTuber Andrew Nordbye brought a great message about allowing God to clean up our lives through the finished work of Jesus on the cross!

Saturday morning dawned clear and crisp with temperatures jsut below freezing! As the day went on it ended up warming up to the 60's for a beautiful fall day of fishing.
Leading the pack on Day 1 was the team of Chris Baldus and Chet Borden whose impressive limit pushed the scales to 21.13 lbs anchored by the Day 1 Big Bass a 7.69 lb Brute
In 2nd is the team of Mickey McCleary and Butch Brooks who had a great limit weighing 16.12 lbs
Sitting in 3rd is the team of Jack Napier Jr and Ross Napier with 12.90 lbs
4th Place is held down by Chris Newell and Chris Cooper at 9.74 lbs
Rounding out the top 5 is the team of Kevin and Christy Diamond who weighed 9.13 lbs
