Thank you goes out to Bellview Baptist Church for hosting our Friday night meeting. Dr. Allen Queen provided a thought provoking devotion following a meal of BBQ, chicken fingers, and all the fixings. Members of the church provided homemade desserts.
We had 51 teams registered for the Saturday tournament on Wheeler Lake. Despite a rainy week, the weather cleared for the weekend, presenting a beautiful day on Saturday.
Our winning team of Counts and Jeffreys weighed in five fishing weighing 20.02 pounds with a big fish weighing 6.76 pounds. Second place went to the team of Baldus and Borden with 18.92 pounds. Our third place winners were Daniels and Crowder with a total weight of 16.87 pounds.
OUr nexst tournament will be on Wilson Lake on 4/27/24. Our Friday night meeting will be held at Florence Baptist Church. The address to the church is 2235 N Wood Ave, Florence, AL 35630. Registration will begin at 5:30 and the meeting will be at 6:00. Late fees will be enforced.
