For our fourth tournament of the year, we will be fishing well-known Kentucky Lake & Lake Barkley where mixed bags of largemouth and smallmouth are winning tournaments! I expect to see some quality fish weighed in for this event and a large turnout of boats!

Our blast off will take place near the riprap break walls at the mouth of the Kentucky Dam Marina cove; weigh-in will take place in the boat ramp parking lot. The address to the ramp is: 166 US-641 Benton, KY 42044. We will be blasting off at safe light and our weigh-in will begin at 2:30 PM central standard time. Anglers - you MUST have your boat number chip back on the chip board by the start of weigh-in or you will be deducted 1 pound for every minute you are late. After 15 minutes, your catch will be disqualified. We will have a few short announcements before blast-off for the anglers who did not attend the Friday night meeting. We will also have prayer and answer any questions that may arise. See below fishing regulations for this lake.

Fishing Regulations: Largemouth & Smallmouth Bass must be 15" in length minimum; Spotted Bass must be 12" in length minimum.

Membership fees per angler is $40 or you can purchase a family membership for $60 which includes everyone living in your household currently. These need to be paid online before the first tournament you fish.

Entry fees for this tournament are $150 per boat. Teams are made up of 2 anglers per boat. Each boat will weigh-in their best 5 legal fish for a total weight payout and big fish payout that is included in your $150 entry fee. We will pay out (1) spot for every (5) entries. There is an optional side pot called "Bonus Bucks". This side pot pays 100% back to the anglers who wish to enter - Bonus Bucks pays top 3 spots. Your team MUST have your entry fees paid before the start of the Friday night meeting or you will be penalized a $25 late charge. You can accomplish this by mailing your entry fees to me at the follow address: 3850 Lick Branch Road, Glasgow, KY 42141 or you can PayPal your entries to me @ gayres@fomntt.com - either option is acceptable.

General Rules: There are no off limits periods prior to the Friday night meeting. Your boat number is given based on the order I receive your entry fee - the sooner you pay your entry fee, the better boat number you will have. U.S. Coast Guard regulations apply to all vessels fishing in our tournaments. Make sure to read over these regulations and abide by these laws - you may be randomly checked by a tournament director or coast guard official. Anglers MUST wear their life jackets anytime the big engine is running - no exceptions. Kill switches MUST be attached to the life jacket of the angler driving the boat. Please have your navigation lights on and working during blast-off. You may take these out when you feel there is light enough to do so when you reach your fishing spot. A working livewell with recirculating pumps is a MUST; fish care is our top priority. As fisherman, our number 1 concern should be the care for our resource. Dead fish brought to the scales will be deducted 1/4 pound from their total weight. You are allowed to weigh-in a dead fish for big fish; however, the penalty still applies. Anglers may not leave their vessel for any reason other than an emergency or if "nature calls" - the only time you are permitted to leave your vessel is during launch and trailering for weigh-ins. Sportmanship - give other anglers at least 50 yards of fishing space or ask the anglers if it's okay to fish a certain spot. Only artificial baits are permitted. A minimum of $100,000 liability insurance is required for participation in these tournaments.

Please save my contact info for any emergencies you may have on the water. My first priority is my anglers; so call me anytime you need ANYTHING. My personal cell phone number is located on the division home page.

Our Friday night meeting will be held at the Mike Miller County Park community building located at 596 US-68 Benton, KY 42025. Registration will begin at 5:30 PM central standard time, dinner will begin at 6 and we will start our devotional once everyone has finished eating. The Friday night meetings are not mandatory, but STRONLY encouraged. What is better than getting your belly full from some homestyle cooking and hearing the good word from a great speaker?? At the meetings, there will be several announcements and rules regulations gone over for the year as well as prize giveaways... so don't miss the Friday night meeting! NEW THIS YEAR - If at least one angler from each team does not attend the Friday night meeting, then that team is NOT eligible for the sponsor bonus money; you will recieve only the typical FOM payout.
