What a beautiful weekend we had! Friday night we meet at Point Pleasent Baptist Church. They cooked up some Kentucky Lake Catfish with all the trimmings and home made desserts. Boy was it good!!! After our meal, Paster Robert McBroom had our devo. He talked to us about sacrifices and being comfortable. How sometimes we have to make sacrifices to be comfortable. He also explained how sometimes being to comfortible can be dangerous. He read from Mathew 16 how Christ said to deny self and follow Him. He said how Christ followers are sometimes uncomfortible in this world. He ended with we are sinful and need a savior. Christ died for us all, we need to except Him. AMEN. Thanks for the great measage .

Saturday 27 teams left at safe light to find some bass. Kentucky Lake still not as crouded as years past. There were 13 limits of 5 fish brought in. Most were mixed bags of largemouth, smallmouth and spots. 1st place went to Jeremy Ethridge and Jay Melton with 18.17, 2nd was Todd Spann and Malculm Davidson with 16.45, 3rd going to John and Corbin Bornstein with 16.22. Big fish went to Tyler Mason and Chuck Coorts with a largemouth at 5.00 pounds.
